From !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , reader Marchman says,

I have no real idea why Philly drivers would be notably terrible but they’re by far the worst I’ve ever been around. Chicago drivers are dangerous lunatics, but they’re predictable in their aggression and rage; Philly drivers are terrifying because they’re totally unpredictable. I routinely see people driving in two lanes at once, driving and parking on the wrong side of the street, driving and parking in bike lanes, turning with no signal, etc

I think Marchman is Doug DeMuro’s next-door neighbor.

He’s probably doing it to make a reaction video to his crusty old Nissan which he thinks is somehow special.

I am so pleased there are people who now are angry about the Skyline.

Here’s the funny bit. It happened with the Ferrari after like 4 weeks. The Skyline after 4 months. And the Hummer... never. Nobody has ever said anything angry about the Hummer, because the kind of jealous anger required to make comments like this would never be directed towards the Hummer. It’s more unadulterated laughter.

You do realise that you have ‘haters’ not because of the cars that you have (which ae fairly mediocre) but because you act like a douchebag about them. The ordeal with the dealership is a prime example. You deliberately lied to the people at the dealership about what car you have to try and suprise them with your old Skyline which is only held in such high regard by Americans because you couldn’t have them until now. I’m not jealous over your Skyline, it costs like $15k for a decent GT-R here. What I don’t like is your inflated ego over what you drive.

That’s because you didn’t introduce the Skyline by destroying a PT Cruiser physically and spiritually.

Haha. The idea that someone would think I have an inflated ego because I possess a 1990 Nissan is legitimately hilarious. I keep the car in a storage facility 40 minutes from my home in a different state, and I only drive it when I absolutely have to, in order shoot a video, every 2 or 3 weeks. My ego is so inflated, and I want people to look at me and notice me so much , that I use the car less than twice a month.

But that’s all old news. What’s really funny is how all the Canadians are angry that people care about the Skylines in America now. It’s the ultimate hipster thing. “WE HAD THEM FIRST. WE’VE HAD THEM FOR YEARS. WE ALREADY KNEW ABOUT THEM.” You are essentially bragging about your federal motor vehicle importation laws. Bragging. About your federal laws.

When you reach this level, it’s time to reconsider your whole life.

If more people got excited about federal motor vehicle laws, we could do away with the 25 year rule, the chicken tax, surcharges for renewing registration online even though it’s easier and cheaper for them, etc.

Also, since you’ve argued persuasively that your inflated ego isn’t due to the Skyline, could you let us know where it does actually come from :P
